Review: Hereafter

October 16, 2010 By Thelma 1 Comment

Us rating: ** 1/2

Clint Eastwood is known for realistic dramas, so a story about the murky subject of life after death is an odd choice for him. The premise works: An American psychic (Matt Damon) grapples with visions of the dead. Meanwhile, a French TV reporter (Cecile de France) has visions after nearly dying under a tidal wave. And at the same time in London, a young twin feels confused when his brother’s death disrupts, but doesn’t end, their bond.
