Us Rating: **
This gorgeous but irritating chick flick follows Liz (Julia Roberts) around the globe after her divorce. Seeking enlightenment, she hops from NYC to Rome to India to Bali, linking up with an actor (James Franco) and a Brazilian expat (a sexy Javier Bardem). The movie is sumptuous, filled with tasty food and National Geographic–style scenery. But Liz comes across as too self-involved — and the navel gazing narration (ripped from the memoir) doesn’t help.
